AAM PANNA
Aam Panna is the perfect summer drink to beat the heat. Made from boiled raw mangoes mixed with black salt and cumin powder, it offers a refreshing and tangy taste.
Every summer, I prepare Aam Panna for my family, making it a perfect addition to our summer parties. I even attended a wedding where Aam Panna was part of the summer wedding menu, delighting guests with its rich flavor and garnish of fresh mint leaves.
Ingredients:
- Raw Mango (Kacha aam)
- Black salt
- Chat masala or jeera powder slightly roasted
- Pudina leaves
Method
Boil the raw mango in pressure cooker or vessel till they become soft, the peels come off easily, Scrape and remove the mango pulp, Put it in the grinder.
Add Chat masala or slightly roasted jeera powder.
Add black salt (if you want sweet aam panna, add sugar or jaggery instead of salt and exclude jeera powder or chat masala).
You can store the aam panna in a bottle or vessel in the refrigerator.
Chop the pudina leaves with your hand and put it in the glass or bottle only when you want to drink.
Serve aam panna by adding ice into it and let your kids, friends, and colleagues drink these homemade beverages as a substitute of cold beverages.
Recommended :
Slice the pudina leaves with your hand do not chop with a knife or else after some time, the pudina leaves will turn in black.
