This simple and quick Bread Pizza is an instant variation of the traditional pizza. "Crispy & Crunchy, it is a perfect blend of textures and flavors that satisfy every bite. I often make this pizza for my family & friends.  

What is Bread Pizza?

Pizza is an Italian dish that's incredibly popular among teens and adults alike. Over the years, this classic has evolved into countless variations. In India, one such version is known as Bread Pizza, where a slice of bread serves as the base instead of traditional dough, filled with vegetable & cheese .Adding a sprinkle of chili flakes for an extra kick of spicy flavor making it a quick and easy homemade favorite. 

Ingredients Required & How to Cook?

Ingredients

  • Cheese
  • Paneer
  • Sweetcorn
  • Green, Red, Yellow Capsicum
  • Onion
  • Mushroom's (optional)
  • Tomato
  • Salt
  • Bread
For Sauce
  • Tomato Ketchup
  • Schezwan Sauce
  • Oregano
  • Chili flakes
Instant Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe

Mix 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup and 2 tablespoons of Schezwan sauce. Add oregano and chili flakes, and mix well. Set the sauce aside. 

Bread Pizza Recipe

Step 1: Once the homemade pizza sauce is prepared 

Step 2 : Chopped the vegetables in small dices. In a pan add butter or oil. Add the vegetables to the pan and stir fry for 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle a pinch of salt while cooking. Be cautious not to overcook the vegetables. It should be half cooked in order to have leaving crunchiness in vegetables. Once done switch of the flame.

Step 3: Cut the paneer into small cubes. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee. Once the ghee is hot, add the diced paneer cubes and a pinch of salt. Cook the paneer until it turns golden brown. Once done, mix the paneer with the stir-fried vegetables.

Step 4: In a pan, melt butter and toast the bread on both sides until they are slightly golden brown. Remove the toasted bread from the pan. On one side of the bread, spread the  homemade pizza sauce. Grate cheese on top of the sauce, then add the cooked vegetables and paneer. Grate some more cheese and sprinkle oregano and chili flakes. Place the bread back in the pan on low flame, cover it with a lid, and let the cheese melt for about 4-5 seconds. Once the cheese has melted, remove the bread pizza from the pan and serve.
