Chana Dal Vada is the South Indian dish made in a variety of ways & style. It can be eaten as a morning breakfast or as evening snacks. I have added a video & recipe of this 2 min snack recipe below.

Recipe Card
Ingredients:-
- 1 cup Chana Dal,
- 1/2 tbsp Green Chili,
- 1/2 tbsp Ginger Paste,
- 1/2 tbsp Garlic Paste1/2 tbsp,
- Turmeric,
- 1/2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder,
- 1/2 tbsp Jeera,
- 1/2 tbsp Hing,
- 1 Finely chopped onion,
- Coriander,
- Salt,
- Oil,
- Water
Method:-
Step 1: Soak Chana Dal for 2-3 hrs. in Water
Step 3: Remove in a bowl, add jeera, Hing, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, green chilli, salt as per taste. mix well with hand
Step 4: Add finely chopped onion & coriander
Step 5: Mix light-handed, pour 1/2 tbsp oil on top
Step 6: Take small pieces of dough, roll on your palm & make patties
Step 7: Heat the kadhai, add oil to deep fry the dal vada
Step 8: Slowly one by one put the dal vada patties in Kadhai
Step 9: Fry until golden brown then flip. Cook on low to medium flame
Step10: Once both the side is cooked remove on tissue paper, let the excess oil soak in paper & then serve with green chutney & tea
Tips :
- If the batter is wet add 1/2 tbsp besan
- You can add bread crumbs instead of besan Or
- After making patties you can cover it with bread crumbs for crispy taste
