Tomato soup has been a staple in our home dinner menu for years. Made from a mix of boiled tomatoes and apples, this soup is light yet nutritious. A single bowl of this delightful tomato soup is enough to satisfy your hunger and keep you feeling full.
TOMATO SOUP RECIPE CARD
Ingredients:-
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 Apple
- 2 to 3 Carrot
- Sweet corn
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black pepper
- Coriander leaves
Method
Step 1: Wash the vegetables and fruits. Boil the tomato, apple without pulp, carrots and sweet corn’s in water.
Now when I started cooking the question always used to arise that "How do I know whether the vegetables are cooked or not? " So a simple technique my mom thought to me:-
Take a knife and poke in the vegetable if it easily goes and comes out the vegetables are cooked or boiled
Step 2: When the vegetables are boiled remove them from hot water and keep the hot water for further use.
Pour some cold water on the vegetables and then remove the tomato pulp.
Put all the vegetables in the grinder and grind it in a mixer making a paste.
Remove it from grinder in the boiling water which you have kept aside. Boil the soup once again for 5 to 10 min add black pepper and salt to taste.
NOTE: - Always remember that black peppers are spicy so put according to your taste preference.
Step 3: Turn off the flame once the soup is boiled
Pour it in the bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve the hot soup
